She lives with her family in Beverly Hills, California with Samantha and Olivia. Ann Turkel has been married only eight years and divorced from Richard Harris since 20. But she still can't accept his death. Turkel was born in the midst of a Jewish family, and was raised by her mother in Manhattan. By the age of 16, she had studied under Sanford Meisner and Philip Burton, both at the Neighborhood Playhouse as well as in the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Ann was discovered when she performed at an event for Vogue's fashion in her group. Within one week, editor-in-chief Diana Vreeland had Ann shoot her very first Vogue cover with photographer Richard Avedon. Ann was one of the best-known American models, working as a cover model for leading magazines such as Vogue Bazaar or Cosmopolitan. Ann modeled successfully for cosmetics companies like Max Factor Revlon, Chanel and Europe in Europe after two years.
